Due to the discovery of CWD in a deer in Michigan, all baiting has been banned in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan. Unfortunately this is spelling disaster for many farmers across the state who depend on the income from selling bait to support their families. At risk is $500 million of spending that comes with the fall hunting season. Many people affected by this are now raising the issue with the authorities.
