Opening Day Of Deer Season in Michigan

Well it’s getting to be that time of year again. Tomorrow bow hunting season opens up for us here in Michigan, and I am absolutely ecstatic. And as part of my annual routine, I start listening to my favorite deer hunting songs. Probably my favorite of all time is “Da Turdy Point Buck”. I remember hearing this song for the first time when I was probably about 6 years old. It was about 6 in the morning, and I was just crawling out of my sleeping bag, as the smell of my Grandpa brewing coffee filled my nostrils. As I was gradually waking up I remember my uncle excitedly turning up the radio when this song came on, and much to our amusement he sang along to “Da Turdy Point Buck”. Ever since then, I have enjoyed listening to this ridiculous song about my favorite pasttime. Give it a listen and enjoy, it’s always good for a laugh!
