To answer your question... I would change some of my advice but I&#039;d definitely stick with the main theme I was trying to get across... enjoy the experience!!!  As far as what type of animal I would suggest for a newbe to start with... antelope for sure.  Lots of opportunity, lots of public land, and a great animal to hunt via spot and stalk techniques... all around a great learning experience!
