Commenting from alberta, been finding last year sheds until 21 mar then started to find this years sheds. All 8 so far have been within 30 yds of the blocks they feed in.I've spent a lot of time in the deep timber to no avail. As for the time of year,it's been unseasonably warm this winter and the drops seem to be a little later.

I agree on the bedding area for sure one that helps me a lot also is sometimes where a buck hung out this winter theres a good chance he might hang out there this upcoming winter so finding sheds helps maybe even with a place to ambush a deer in the late season.
