Definitely do still recommend the wrist sling. I use one myself! And I also think you make a great point about squeezing w/your shoulder blades, and using the buddy technique to work on not anticipating the shot. Look for something about that coming soon.</description>

When I was shooting the loose grip was shown by allowing the bow to swing forward after the shot and we all used to have wrist straps to aid in letting the bow free after pulling the trigger. Do they still recommend that?

Next you should talk about squeezing your shoulder blades prior to the shot, or how to have a buddy pull the trigger for you to help with anticipating the shot and wincing. Just some ideas cause I think your advice to new shooters is GREAT!
