Every morning I pull up the internet on my laptop or cellphone and check out my Google Reader account, which shows me updates from all of my favorite hunting blogs across the country. There’s lots of great articles, blog posts and news being shared every day in the hunting world, but even for me it can be a bit tough to stay on top of. I can only assume that there are others out there like me who have a hard time keeping track of all the great stories and articles online. That being said, I’ve decided to start a weekly feature on Wired To Hunt called the Friday Morning Mashup. Every Friday I’ll share a few of my favorite blog posts, articles and stories from other websites across the internet for all of you to check out! So we’ll start today with a few good ones from this past week!

Q & A with Heartland Bowhunter member Skyler Wirsig – Passion or Obession: This is pretty self explanatory, but I really enjoyed this interview with one of the members of the Heartland Bowhunter show.

Bowhunting World: Mark and Terry Drury – Mike Hanback’s Big Deer: This story was actually posted last week, but I still thought it was worth sharing. Check out this interview for some good insight into the world of two hunting icons, the Drurys.

Dealing With Drought – Growing Deer TV: With so many midwest states experiencing extreme heat, I thought this video would be particularly useful and interesting. Watch this clip to hear Dr. Grant Woods’ advice for helping your food plots get through droughts.

The Best Climbing Treestand for Deer Hunting – Whitetail365: Scott Bestul shares with us what his favorite climbing treestand is, gives his reasons and then gets the readers to share their thoughts too. If you’re in the market for a climber, this is a great article to check out. Definitely check out the comments too.
