Congrats to our buddy Mike Hunsucker of Heartland Bowhunter for dropping a great North Dakota buck last night! Word is that Mike got a shot at this bruiser from 25 yards out and he didn’t make it more than 100 yards after that. In a couple years now, Mike has killed two monster bucks up at Central Dakota Lodge. I just might have to find a way to get up there some time!
Stay tuned with Wired To Hunt for more updates from the HB crew throughout the season, as we’ll be tracking their progress and their kills along the way! For more pics and the full story about this great buck, check out Mike’s blog post on HBinMotion –> “I Love North Dakota”

Somewhere I read that he scored this buck at 165? There is no way. Good buck, but don’t lie about the score (test, touch your first finger to your thumb and you’ll see the kind of mass this deer has off this pic). Sorry, but that’s no where near a 165″ buck.

Jacob – Why would I lie about the score? He definitely is deceiving in person. I thought he was mid-upper 50s. He has 24″ beams, 5″ bases and an average of tine length of 9″.
I can post the score sheet if you would like.
