This season is looking like a truly special one for the Drury Outdoors team and two recent bucks killed are great evidence of that. Mark Drury and Jeff Lindsey both dropped amazing bucks in the last couple weeks and they are certainly worth taking a look at. Since these two bucks were killed, there have been about ten other giants taken as well! We just can’t keep up with these guys! But for now lets check out these two monsters and the details behind these great hunts!
Jeff Lindsey arrowed this giant Illinois whitetail in Adams County on Oct 23rd. The 12 point monster buck came in to a snort wheeze and Jeff was able to get off a 15 yard shot. In the end this brute ended up measuring out to be 175″ and a true Illinois trophy. On a more uncommon note, this hunting story also involved a 6 inch treestand slip and Jeff’s dad thinking this buck was his!

Mark Drury is having an absolutely unbelievable year so far too, as he stuck a 176″ Iowa whitetail earlier in October and now this 195″ mammoth of a deer. Just like Jeff, Mark grunted/snort wheezed this buck into range and he was able to get off a 25 yard shot. To add to the excitement of the encounter, they could actually hear this buck making a rub behind them for some time. This is actually Mark’s largest typical whitetail ever and truly an amazing animal for anyone to harvest.
