As has been our luck this season, we’ve been just a day or a weekend behind or in front of cold fronts, deer movement and all the action. And to rub salt in the wounds, I just recieved trailcam pics from Chad out in Nebraska that made me just shake my head. One week from the time we were sitting on stand over the Kansas/Nebraska line, this giant Nebraska buck was working several scrapes that were only 20 yards from our stand. He came twice that day, both in the daylight. It’s hard to tell just how big this buck’s rack is until you compare it to his ears. He’s got one seriously tall rack! Ahhh, the joys of deer hunting. One of these days we’ll be in the right place at the right time!
