2011 is now upon us and as much as I am looking forward to the new year, I’m also taking time to look back on the past 12 months and there really is a lot to reflect on. As I think about 2010, one of the most obvious thoughts that comes to my mind is how thankful I am for the Wired To Hunt Nation.
Over the past several years Wired To Hunt has grown tremendously from an off hand idea in a New York City cinder block apartment that attracted only a handful of readers, to one of the largest deer hunting blogs on the internet and the destination for tens of thousands of hunters every month. And the reality is that none of that would have been possible if it weren’t for all of you that have come along for the journey. I am ever so grateful for the support, companionship, opinions and stories I have garnered from each and every one of you over the past year. With the help of so many generous folks in the hunting industry we’ve been able to share some amazing hunting strategies and stories this year from the pros and perfectly complementing that have been stories and ideas that you of the W2H Nation have sent my way as well. I am so proud of the fact that Wired To Hunt has become a community and sounding board for everyone from the top hunters on TV, to the brand new hunters that are getting into our sport every day. Wired To Hunt has truly become the home for the next generation of deer hunters and because of all you, the future certainly looks bright.
So I’d like to thank you all again for following us along on this journey and for chiming in with your support, thoughts and opinions. I wish you all a very happy new year and may 2011 be your best hunting season ever!
