It’s almost here! The 2011 QDMA National Convention. Beginning Aug 11 and running through the 14th, this years convention is just about upon us. I attended last years event in Louisville and had a blast. The caliber of speakers, seminars and events was first rate and I had a terrific experience. But now looking at this years schedule, it looks like things are going to be taken up even a few more notches.

The QDMA describes the differences like this, “The most significant difference with this year’s National Convention is its combination with the Bass Pro Shops Land & Wildlife Expo, enabling a larger, more comprehensive event than in any previous year.  The 2011 event will feature more speakers and a much larger Expo than previous Conventions. Many of QDMA’s most anticipated speakers and seminar topics will be part of the QDMA Pro Speaker Series on Thursday, the Whitetail Ramblings on Friday morning, and others will be part of the True North Seminar schedule: a total of 44 seminars on everything from deer and predator management to habitat and pond management.”

Between the two simultaneous events there will be seminars put on by the likes of Kip Adams, Dr. Karl Miller, Bobby Cole of Mossy Oak, QDMA founder Joe Hamilton, Dr. Craig Harper, Chuck Sykes of The Management Advantage, and Dr. Grant Woods. In short, the best of the best will be sharing a boatload of information with folks like you and me. On top of the great seminars there will be exhibitors from all across the country selling and sharing information about the top hunting and management tools on the market. You’ll be hard pressed to find an event with higher quality exhibitors. It’s a showroom floor you’ll love walking.

Need more convincing? On top of the great seminars and exhibitors, some serious entertainment will be provided. On tap are appearances by Craig Morgan, Rhett Atkins and Jeff Foxworthy. Needless to say, this is going to be a great event.

Unfortunately, I’m not going to be able to attend this year, but if you do I’m going to want a full report! The 2011 QDMA National Convention is sure to be an amazing event, so if you can, be sure to head down to Nashville to enjoy the great entertainment and information.
