I spent seven hours yesterday trekking through thickets, across CRP fields and deep into swamps all in search of an elusive shed from a Michigan buck. Unfortunately, as seems to be common for me here in Michigan – I came up empty. But all wasn’t lost for the Wired To Hunt team, because our pals Ross, Kendal and Pete have continued to pick up some impressive bone in the great state of Iowa!
Over the weekend Ross and Kendal picked up another 4 or so very nice sheds, mostly on South facing slopes. Take note – these South facing slopes can be some of the best areas to look for sheds, since bucks will bed here to catch a few extra rays of sun.
Below are a few pics of this weekends Iowa sheds!
