There are few things as enjoyable in life as grilling a venison steak (click here for some venison grilling tricks) on the front porch, sipping a cold beverage, and watching deer feed in the field in front of you. I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to do just that on many a summer night, and I’m planning on doing it again this weekend! Thank goodness it’s Friday. I’d also like to say thank goodness it’s almost July!
July means big velvet bucks will be showing themselves in crop fields and on trail cameras, and it means we’re one month closer to hunting season. Another indicator of the impending arrival of hunting season is the increase in great deer hunting articles popping up online. Given that’s the case, we’ve got a whole slew of good whitetail blog posts for you to read up on this week.
So that said, if I were you I’d fire up the grill, throw on a venison steak, pop a top on an ice cold domestic beverage, and then get your whitetail fix below while your steaks are sizzling.
