As a leader in wildlife calls, Primos has developed and launched more calls, grunts, tubes, cans, reeds and slates than you can count. And it doesn’t look like they’re going to be slowing down any time soon.

This year Primos launched two new whitetail focused calling products of interest, those being the Rack-N-Roll rattling system and the Bottleneck grunt tube.

First, the new “Rack-N-Roll” rattling system. This system is comprised of two hard knobbed and grated plastic pieces, one of which has a leg strap attached to it. The trick here is that you strap one of these plastic pieces to your leg, and then hold the other piece in one hand. From there, bang the two pieces together  – simple enough. This one handed operation frees up your other hand to hold your gun, bow, etc. This construction is also supposed to better emulate the sound and volume of two complete sets of antlers crashing. The Rack-N-Roll will retail for $24.99.

Next up is the Bottleneck grunt tube. The big thing with this grunt tube is actually how small it is. This is a more compact, rubberized grunt tube than past offerings from Primos – it’s definitely much more compact than my old Primos Buck Roar. What’s nice is that despite the small size, this call is still able to replicate both soft and loud grunts, as well as more aggressive buck roars. You can also change tone and sound with an adjustable o-ring. The Bottleneck will retail for $19.95.
