If you hunt around swamps or cattail marshes, our Video of the Day today should be right up your alley.

In addition to shed hunting, one of the best things you can be doing at this time of year (spring) is to get out and scout your hunting properties. And one of the most important things to look for while doing that is the location of bedding areas – buck bedding areas in particular.

That said, in this video, renowned Wisconsin DIY bowhunter Dan Infalt shows an example of how he finds and identifies buck beds in cattail marshes. If you hunt in this kind of habitat, this video is well worth a watch. Take a look and next time you’re out in the swamp, look for this type of situation and see if you can take advantage of it.
